Flax used to be one of the most important textile fibres in the Netherlands. From the seed to the end product, the flax in this lamp comes from the Netherlands. It is made in collaboration with traditional rope maker Touwslagerij Steenbergen. Flax is a very durable fibre since it doesn't need a lot of water, no pesticides and herbicides and everything of the flax is used for something. So no waste.
